We scrape, sand, prime bare wood, and paint. Rotten siding is a repair first. Tall farmhouses, porches, and outbuildings are different setups than a ranch in town. Height, pitch, and whether a ladder can reach the wall all get talked through on site.
Call for peeling on the weather side, bare wood on the fascia, or a porch ceiling that has failed. County lots often have equipment, dogs, or a grade that changes how we set up. Say that on the form.
We won’t promise a week the weather will not allow. If the wood is wet, we wait. That is how the coat lasts.
