We pull the bad pieces, flash what is behind them if water got in, and put back material that matches as close as the current product allows. Vinyl fades. A ten-year-old Dutch lap in 41031 will not be a perfect color match off the shelf. We’ll say that before we order. Wood and fiber cement get cut back to sound material. Rot does not get buried under a new board.
Call when you can see a broken run, open corners, or soft trim. If the whole side of the house has failed, that is a bigger conversation, and sometimes it belongs with a siding crew. We’ll tell you which one you have.
