We cut out the bad spot, set a patch flush with the rest of the wall, tape it, and finish it. Knockdown and orange peel we can usually get close. Heavy swirl, or plaster in an older house, may not blend from a can. We’ll tell you that before we start.
If a stain is still wet, the patch will fail. We look for the leak first. A roof leak or a supply line in the wall is a different trade.
Paint is separate unless you want it on the same visit.
Call when you can point at the hole, the crack, or the stain. Older houses in Cynthiana and additions out in Harrison County both need this. If the stain is still damp, say so. We wait until the source is dry.
